Very easy totally mybarse mark was crap because he used the wrong harmonica and the BBC orchestra was absolutely crap, total and utter rubbish. Philomonic my arse they ought to be sacked total utter site.

The less than perfect playing, I feel actually gives it more character than the original. As a piece of film music, with a man turning up in town with his harmonica, the imperfections give it a more authentic and soulful sound.

Arrougance. "Is very easy to play". Ok, but... Where's the BEND on the intro?

To all the idiots on here you do realise he's a film critic and not a musician, of course it's not going to be perfect. At-least he has the courage to stand up and have a go.

Needless to say, there can be only one Toots, but this man did a decent job.

You played with spirit, if not with style. Nice one, Mark.

Bum notes and notes missing plus last section avoided? galore. But respect for attempting the daunting task.

It was very good. So difficult to play. I mean there are not many Toots around.

there might be a few faults at the beginning, but please remind that the oiginal version is differently orchestrated with the back-up starting much earlier. so mark was pretty much on his own and he did very well.

Mark Kermode is a thoroughly nice man. I met him in Liverpool when he was doing a book signing and we chatted for a good ten minutes. He asked me what my favourite film is to which I replied Star Wars. When he asked me why, I replied that for its running time, it just makes me happy. He said that was the best answer he'd heard (because he doesn't like it). He said a lot of fans try to attribute some greater meaning to their enjoyment.Top bloke and well done on this performance.

After only one weeks training that is magnificent, I wish I could achieve that, I love the harmonica!
