Wow! I was NOT expecting this! This is great! The wistful, melancholic lyric should CONTRAST badly with the uptempo, upbeat acoustic arrangement. However, D'Ubaldo has more than enough sass, smarts and songwriting nous to make sure the two extremes don't clash. Instead, they cohere, and do it brilliantly! I'm impressed. No wonder Celine covered "Falling Into You".

I think she's one of the most underrated talent worldwide. Outstanding vocal and songwriting abilities,.

my mom had a mix tape of Marie Claire's best hits ofyl the 90s (plus other ) when I was little and I grew up on these songs. We brought this tape with us from Russia when migrated to US years ago and even though it still works, I am very happy to be able to find her songs and listen to them whenever and wherever I want (as long as there is service lol) this song has a super special place in my heart after understanding what she was saying , and I get very emotional every time I hear it because I always wished I had a loving father... thank you for posting!

gives much more soul to her own songs than Celine Dion ever could, in her versions!

Even though I'm Dutch, I prefer the Spanish version. Still, her voice is great, and gives much more soul to her own songs than Celine Dion ever could, in her versions! Celine just screams and screeches, if you ask me. Marie Claire's got much more soul. Where is she now?
