She doesn't blame Mick Jagger for ruining her. The way she tells it, he was sweet and somewhat innocent when they started their relationship, but he was different by the end of the sixties. I'm not sure, but she might even say that she has some responsibility for that, maybe connected to her overdose in Australia. Regardless, she talks of him fondly and, as far as I know, has never said anything negative about him.

you are very sweet michelle, feel bad that you felt i was critical . . . of you. thank you for replying. you have what it takes. i would not like to think i offended someone and not have had the opportunity to explain. " i just meant that we can't blame anyone for our own choices ( as tempting as it is ) & that hardships often build character. and upon later reflection we can't imagine not have had gone through them." i will be more careful in the future. thanks.

part 2 > if you see some of her documentaries you will see that marianne is comfortable in her own real skin, and happy. and if we trully achieve that for even one hour in life that is just fine. NOW she is beautiful & finally, tough, like OLLA BELLE REED. have a listen to olla's song : " high on a mountain " ( there is a more modern version by merideth sisco from the " winter's bone soundtrack " singing " high on a mountain " . . . if you are not used to the hills.)

marianne is anything but ruined michelle. she bravely fought for her integrity through her needed experience ( without giving up ) and discovered she is a good person. mick is actually ruined. he used women like a drug, all his life, and now will be dependent on viagra to the end of the journey. ( nobody calls him a drug addict ! ? ) . . . see part 2 >
