I can not agree, Marduk wasnt available for me in the last two years, since they were not even close to a city I life in. I went to Belgium over 900 kms to see them live performing. Other then that, to generalize about the audince is stupid and a sterotyp. The bigger the venue is, the more people might see Marduk, but additionally the more are NOT into Marduk's music. Play on a small venue like the one in this video and you'll have your great audince. I had this often with kreator in the past.

yeah american audiences, north or south, are always more appreciative of foreign bands when they come to play live... i wouldnt be excited about a band i could see maybe 5 given times each year either.

I like moshing and Marduk give me the rush to mosh especially in songs like christraping black metal, gospel of the worm, souls for belial etc and so do other black metal bands. As the blast beating etc does pump me up!! So I don't see why there isn't many moshing or lack of energy.. I mean the bands are usually energetic so I reckon the crowd should engage to.. But you don't have to obviously hahaha!! I'm going to Marduk tomorrow (29th september 2012) so hopefully the crowds good that way!!

I think mosh pit is part of the Thrash Metal or Punk culture... but not of the Black Metal culture at all. However, I think everybody is free to do whathever they fucking want in a concert, whathever the style it is. It's just how different people feel the music. Maybe when they listen Marduk they feel so excited they have to mosh. But personally, when I listen to Black Metal I don't have no desire to mosh... I actually have desire to be quiet. But, man, is a matter of personal feelings.
