I finally got my udongo yesterday. The sound is wet on the smaller side, & dryer on the large side. Very tabla like. Hitting the hole on either side gives a very deep sound. More than I expected. I'm very pleased with it. These are built very well. I want to get the utar & claytone 1 to expand.Usually, I think LP is way overpriced...but these Udu drums are an exception, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

this was nice....although sometimes i wonder if folks play these beautiful instruments too fast........i mean the dialogue is for a bassy sound with the hand seals.......and bending notes.......Marco is brilliant.......and i think perhaps focusing on the one instrument whose sound isnt too disimiliar from the others is very hypnotic and communicative ..........great work here :)
