For the numerous Manuel fans (and for all other music lovers of course) here is the crystal clear sound of 'Manuel and his Music of the Mountains' again. Another brilliant arrangement by Geoff Love (alias Manuel) - this time of the hauntingly beautiful melody "Lisboa Antigua", also known under it's English title "In old Lisbon". Many people may know the version by Nelson Riddle and His Orchestra which was arranged especially by Riddle for the 1956 movie "Lisbon". That orchestral version was quite a big hit back then and hence, a large number of music fans got to know the melody.

In the movie it was sung by the Portuguese fado singer Anita Guerreiro.

From the 1967 album "Beyond the mountains" here, for your 'listening pleasure' is Manuel and his Music of the Mountains with "Lisboa Antigua".
