Of that era, I preferred Mansun to Stereophonics, even though both bands were different. I liked Mansun's rough edged songs and most had great melodies, and brilliant to watch live. You'd leave Mansun's shows soaking in sweat and smiles, whilst 'phonics was always more of a sombre time.
