Welcome to my YouTube channel where I am posting videos of some of my favorite songs.

Our Heavenly Reward is a popular theme - and everyone always seems to enjoy thinking about better days coming. This particular song is a favorite of several folks I know. I think I first learned to play it in church because it was a favorite of a guy who had a great voice - but was too shy to sing. He finally agreed he would be willing to sing - and this is the song he picked out. I was just a kid but he wanted me to learn to play it for him - so I did. His voice was a blessing - so this was the first of many songs we did together over a few years.

I am a Christian Husband Dad Musician Technology Geek.

But not a professional musician. My keyboard is a Yamaha YPG-525. The YPG/DGX-6xx series keyboards have nice weighted keys and more polyphony, but this was all I could afford when I got this a couple of years ago and I'm really pretty happy with it. With this keyboard, I can record different sounds on up to 6 tracks and then play it back together. I do my own arranging - playing around until I come up with a nice style and sound - then I record it.

This project started when I decided put together some music for a friend who I thought could use some entertainment and encouragement while they were recovering from an illness. Since it was not much more difficult to create a video than to do "just sound" I decided to add a little more to the videos in case anyone else (you!) found them.

Lyrics are included if you'd like to "sing along". And I will be creating three versions of each song in different keys in case this version seems too high or too low for you.
