im american and all i can escape to in this filthy place is mando diao. every since i heard them i knew they are the best sadly not that many americans know them. hope they try to do more concerts here i would do anything to see them live.

I think the accent only makes the song cooler. Sometimes the lyrics seem strange, because the grammar is very different as compared to native English-speaking singers. "Ringing Bells" is def a song with lyrics that make my head spin. I love the song though, and honestly I appreciate Mando Diao's lyrics as a way of putting a new and creative twist on the English language. :)
