Malia was born in Malawi from an English father and an African mother.The family moved to London when she was a teenger, and she discovered herself a passion for jazz , for Bille Holiday and Sarah Vaughan.

Then she started a collaboration with french producer André Manoukian, and she released her first album " Yellow Daffodils ". Her second album " Echoes of Dreams " is more "rock".

Her third album " Young Bones" relaeased in 2007 is a mix of jazz, electro and bossa nova.

She's a great singer ;-)
