Man, even knowing that the overwhelming majority of fans prefer the first two albums of the band, my favorite record of Malevolent Creation is the Warkult (detail: this album was released well after I became a fan of the band - that is, I already knew the whole discography of the band before I heard it (Warkult) by first time). Of course, I prefer the vocals of Hoffmann, in general, in relation to the Kyle Symons performances. However, this album in particular was just amazing, fantastic!!! The entrance of the best drummer who has been in the band, Dave Culross, culminated in a more brutal sound in terms of percussion, and Phil Fasciana and Rob Barrett guitar bases are purely Death Metal, unlike what you hear in The Will to Kill, in which there are many riffs dating back to Thrash Metal (without criticizing the The Will to Kill, because I love this album, too). But, Warkult is Death Metal in its most visceral and dirty facet. A lesson of adrenaline, evil feeling, brutality and intensity. It is worth mentioning that Warkult is also the most extreme, chaotic and visceral material conceived by Malevolent Creation, in my humble opinion, alongside the In Cold Blood (although the In Cold Blood, in terms of preference, does not appear not even in my top 5 the band).
