The official music video for the song "Dragonfly" (2001) by Magne Furuholmen. The song was written & recorded for the Norwegian movie "Øyenstikker (Dragonfly)", and later recorded by a-ha with Morten's singing. Then, Magne provided this song to Martin Halla also, who is the winner of the musical reality show "The Voice (Norge) / 2012" as one of the contestants from the "Team Magne".
I love all those 3 versions, though, slightly prefer this original version the most... Especially, the line "I will nurse you when you're old", makes me feel something ultimately simple, warm & tender at heart. (I know nobody cares my likings, though) As for arrangement of the backing, it depends on the mood... Esp. a-ha version's intro & clear piano sound stimulates & eases my mind at the same time.

As I had always listened a-ha's version, it felt a bit strange at first....Mags voice sounded like a child in the onset of puberty....unstable & so sweet....then I've ended up loving it. But love Morten's the most....I feel that he tried to be "less Morten" to honor Mags's beautiful song......11 years назад

Thank you very much for the comment :o) Yes, I really love the lyrics too... <3 Especially, "I will heat you when you're cold, I will nurse you when you're old" and "In the time that we are here, we'll be lost in our fear" Those words are much much more convincing than saying "love you forever", imo...11 years назад
