This is the Love Don't Live Here Anymore video set to the (IMO much preferable) remix from the 1996 compilation Something To Remember, which maintains the integirity and spirit of the 1984 version from the Like A Virgin album with only a slight retouching on the musical production.

The video was originally released set to the Soulpower Radio Mix which was much more of an alteration from the original arrangement; it had more of a slow-jam-R&B-meets-video-game kind of vibe. You can find that video version by doing a simple search for other links on YouTube.

This song was almost her first ballad released as a single until "Crazy For You" was released from the Visionquest soundtrack and plans were squashed.It took 12 years for it to become a single off the "Something to Remember" ballad compilation.Also,she made this video around the same time she was filming the movie "Evita!" and according to her own words in Vanity Fair magazine she couldn't remember the lyrics.(LOL)Of course she recorded the song in 1983,it wasn't one of her compositions,and she probably hadn't performed the song since recording it.So I guess we can forgive her.
