The Dude in the Military uniform, who is wearing the steel helmet, is wearing a French Foreign Legion jacket, epaulettes and sporting the 1st RE regt and 2nd REP para wings insignia. Strange, it would be just easier finding normal US surplus uniform, which are always readily available. Was one of the band members an ex Legionnaire?
