"Mad Butcher" the band was formed in 1981, "Destruction" in 1982! There is a "myth" about the opposite that you are wondering: that "Destruction borrowed the band's name for their Mad Butcher EP (1987) after a common show in 1983!". Schmier wrote somewhere that it's just BS and the lyrics were inspired by Jack the Ripper ;)
