"Mind On Fire is a bit of an emotional piece," Maceo Plex says. "Pretty much the whole track came to mind New Years day while on route from Warehouse Project in Manchester down to Brixton Academy outside of London. We had 3 hours to make it, and we had already done 3 gigs that day and only 1 more gig to go. For some reason the melody, whispered vocal, and plucked guitar string were all vivid in my mind. I pulled out the laptop and went thru my huge backstock of sounds i've sampled and created over the years and started the laying out he track. I felt like my mind was on fire between the stresses of the road and ideas i had simmering within. The end result i think came out great and is a really nice peace to end off my DJ-Kicks."
