I'm pretty sure this was recorded in France during Luther's sojourn there. Just Luther and bass, piano and drums. I was fortunate to see Luther after his return from France. He played a "Blues Cruise" sail around New York harbor, I think in 1996. He had such energy and chops, playing and singing. He blew the lid off that damned boat. Then he died shortly thereafter. A great loss.
