With her elfin demeanor, grainy vocals and deeply narrative lyrics, Lucy Rose will melt your heart. But don't be fooled... she's got a feisty side to her delicate form.

Having spent the last few years gigging around the UK, we saw Lucy Rose at The Great Escape Festival back in May. Matt was introduced to her through David J Roch's manager and he was relentless in his pursuit of a session with her despite her busy schedule. We finally managed to steal an afternoon of her time in Angel in a local park near the picturesque canals.

Singing a brand new song, Lucy seemed at first very uncomfortable with the intimacy of the filming but she soon relaxed into it. The animation, using ivy branches from the park, came from the lyrics expressing an old lover, entangled in the past, torn between going back to them and the reality of that past not being what it was meant to be.
