@doctorfuse007 This is what can be criticises indeed, the LULU lyrics sometimes suffer from bathos (espescially "The View"). But this wasn't the problem. The only problem was that LULU got just too much attention from "Metallica fans". This infamous group of human beings is known too be dependably conservative. So, the reaction was: Doesn't sound like my favorite Metallica album ==> HATRED.

Lou simply cannot do self-consciously 'deep' stuff. This is almost as bad as his stint with metallica. Stick to songwriting, Lou, please, and leave poetic performance art to Laurie Anderson, et al.
