On this day in 1985 {April 13th} Los Lobos performed "Will the Wolf Survive" on the ABC-TV program 'American Bandstand'...At the time the song was at #87 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; the week before it was at #78 and that was also its peak position on the Top 100...It had entered the Top 100 on March 17th, 1985 at #84 and spent a total of 5 weeks on the chart...Los Lobos had two* other Top 100 records; "Come On, Let's Go" {#21 in 1987} and "La Bamba" {#1 for 3 weeks, beginning on August 23rd, 1987}...* Of course the two records were from the Richie Valens bio-movie 'La Bamba'...

never seen live. Once I went to see the Blazers play at Raji's in Hollywood, and Cesar from los lobos was one of the seven people in the audience. Wearing his trademark sunglasses. The Blazers were pretty hot. Then once I was catching the bus back to Alhambra and a guy told me he lived on the same block as Cesar.
