So, this is Lonnie Gordon (i.e., in the video). After all these years, this is the first time that I've seen the video. It's so curious why this song wasn't more successful. Looking at the video, I can only presume it was because Lonnie was (cough) a little older than the Mel and Kims, Sonyas, Reynolds Girls, Kylies etc of the day. Which is a shame because this is true pop heaven. The lyric has melody and rhythm, the chorus really is an epic pop chorus. What more can you ask for in a pop song?

I LOVE this song and have loved it from the first time I heard it. It wasn't until I bought the CD and saw the writing credits of SAW that I figured out I really liked the SAW sound and I had recently purchased the Donna Summer/SAW album. Even if written for Donna, I am glad you recorded because it is fabulous.

Your version of "I Will Survive" doesn't show in Canada - EMI has peed on the shrubs and marked its territory... ;-p Perhaps you could dispute this with Youtube?
