Don Gibson was one of the first REAL country song stylists. His breathless-type phrasings were what drew his fans to him.....and his recordings. Don remains.....and will always be..... one of my all-time favorite country artists.

Superb version with a verse I'd never heard before. Lovely clean sound to the recording unlike a Ray Price album I listened to yesterday that was about as over produced as a record could be. I'm sure he had Ray Conniff, Leroy Anderson and the Boston Pops in the studio with him Anyway, I digress, this is a fantastic recording and how country should without the kitchen sink being thrown in for good measure.
