Struggle played a shitty bar in Friday Harbor, Wa and we happened upon them in around 1988 .  Best music in that I have heard ever in one of my favorite towns.  It was like a private party and we had the dance floor largely to ourselves.  Bought the vinyl and have kept my eye on them since.  And I married the girl I was with that night.  I'm sure it was related.  Great night, great groove, and a great struggle.

Haunting You

No offence to Lloyd, but the bass player really makes that song, a really nice walking bass line, all the way through and like clockwork.too, he didn't miss a beat. Does anyone know who he is?

This looks like it was recorded in the 80s. I saw Loyd a few times at the Yale Hotel in Vancouver back in the day and always loved it when he came to town.Great singer and guitarist. He should be waaaay more well known.Portland is lucky to have Loyd and I'm sure they know it!

I literally cannot believe this! Lloyd Jones is one of my favorite blues and r & b acts of all time - I've tried for months to find a decent vid of him here - AND September 2nd just happens to be my birthday! I see you uploaded this on that day! Wow!! My wife and I used to go to his gigs every time we could - he looks like somebody's accountant, but then he picks up the guitar and starts to sing and he becomes the funkiest cat you'd ever want to meet! This guy is the real deal!!!
