Malgrat el seu recorregut de llarga durada, aquest cantautor anglès, primer com a líder de The Commotions i més tard en solitari, mai no ha deixat de tractar la seva música de manera artesanal i sempre ha preferit fer gires llargues en locals de petit format que grans concerts en estadis. Arriba amb "Standards", el darrer dels seus discos acabat de desprecintar i a punt per voltar per ciutats sospitosament properes a camps de golf importants. Esport que, segons diuen, és la seva gran passió a banda de la música.

Not everyday we have the opportunity to have with us someone who has released seventeen albums. Even though his long way through music, this Bristish singer-songwriter has always worked as an artisan with his music, as a leader of The Commotions, at first and in his solo career, later he has always preferred long tours in small venues than big concerts in stadiums. He's back with "Standards" his last studio album, ready to tour through cities which are suspiciously close to important golf courses. A sport which, rumor has it, is his great passion, apart from music.
