It's entirely swell to see the dainty-and-natty 17-year-old Ms Liza Minnelli performing her lighthearted-and-understated albeit truncated swinging-rendition of Mr Harry Tierney / Mr Joseph McCarthy's Broadway standard " Alice Blue Gown" - as part of the lined-up musical numbers in The Judy Garland Christmas Show.In all respects she appeared so even-tempered,high-minded,strong-willed,and well-behaved - bringing out all her best as she belted out and moved around the roomy multilevel and loose-fitting parlor stage set and wound up in front of the tall Christmas tree that was spruced up with glistening trinkets and enlivening wrapped-gifts.Although he was not able to blow his own horn on all counts as an ingrained first-rate hoofer,Mr Tracy Everitt had still succeeded to perform his number with Ms Minnelli in most animated and quick-witted manner through his well-designed and well-pranced "Steam Heat".Indeed this traditional yet exceptional-and-motivational Christmas variety show is a great holiday present for the entire family members this season of Yule.Its glamour-and-splendor never fade away.
