Brits are not the only ones who prefer their culture homegrown. As one of the perfect charmers of Atomic Kitten, McClarnon has dibs on the audience. But the arrangement is note-for-note vintage Streisand through to the bridge, toned down and sweetened to match a weaker voice. (N.B. few voices in any oeuvre are as strong as Barbra's). The song and its arrangement are a masterpiece of a single weaving. t speaks well for Ms. McC's musical taste that she chose to bring it to the UK, and for her professionalism that she did not try to compete with the original.Her stamp is clear on this version. I like this woman.

Decent cover, but not as spine-tingling good as Barbs. I think it's the generic karaoke backing track and mix that does it a big disservice. Who was that one chick from american idol a few years ago that sang this... now she was amazing.
