Huge Dolly Parton fan that I am, I have always preferred Miss Liz's cover version. Dolly was so new at the time and was so serious about wanting to be a success that I think she missed a bit of the humor in this song in her delivery which seems incredible given nobody has a more delightful sense of humor in country music than Dolly Parton. Except perhaps Liz Anderson. This one brings back 8 track flashbacks playing "Liz Anderson Sings Her Favorites" in my dad's truck.
