don't want to be a party pooper but as diver and swimmer i can tell you that his head was not under water when filming this it would be impossible that not one airbuble espacpes his mouth with that much lip syncing also never ever inhale pure oxygen that is very very dangeruous, pay a bit attention in your physics and chem class and you would know why

I am trying to get the Mythbusters to test the claim that he was under for 3.5 minutes. What I would do is get Tori to try to make this video with just 1 breath of air, or breathe pure oxygen or use scuba gear while lip synching. Also would it be possible to edit it into thirds or fourths so would not have to be under as long but still look like one continous take. So go on the discovery boards and tell them to test this video. PS Even Jamie is better looking!

@MrNeptunebob they speed up the song during th recording of the video i gues alot of bands do that the they edith it to normal speed so that it looks like hes been under water a long time but in fact it 1 minute or hey just standing bihind a big aquarium :) he,s a fish 0-0 lol

Joanna, he probably breathed in a lot of pure oxygen just before he went into the water, chasing as many N and CO2 molecules out of his body as he possibly could. As for the lip synching, it probably is not that difficult. Now doing this with his ugly band mates diving in and having to concentrate, well I guess that still is something. Even with the pure O2 it is still long, and I am not sure if that is a safe thing to do.

Very interesting idea to make a music video under water :). I'm just wondering how Beukes could hold his breath so long, singing meantime with ideal synchronization to music. Or maybe this is some secret tric I cannot see :). Anyway I really enjoy the video and the music.

Well, I have to admit I cannot hold my breath as long as he can but I am a lot better looking and I think I have a better singing voice.
