From a fan of both power metal and the original song, pretty well done! I would have liked a gliding metal beat and some additional percussive patterns (with de-emphasized double bass to accommodate them) for the last chorus, though. The final chorus didn't land quite right for me--I mean, the hyped speed clapping was practically begging for a gliding beat and then they dropped it and didn't pick it back up. It's probably just my taste.The electronic sound in the crash cymbals made it a little more pop (whether that's good or bad), and I feel their overdone sustain added a nice layer of depth to the song. But man, that ultra-high vocal came across as childish and desperate. Maybe the singer was only able to do it this way, but I feel like in a perfect situation a lower buildup before the snap would be the better way to do it.
