What a thrill it was for me to actually MEET Lisa. Summer of 1999, I was living in Los Angeles....I had on a LISA GERMANO tee shirt (bought at one of her shows). I was browsing at a book store called BOOK SOUP on Sunset Blvd...One of the employees noticed my shirt...He asked me if I knew that Lisa WORKED there ? I told him absolutely NOT !!! He said that he'd go and get her....I could not believe this was happening !!! Lisa came out of the back room and I told her how much I loved her music...

The album version is way way way more moving and emotive. I think they were trying to polish this up for mass consumption. It's a pity, the original is one of the most profound songs I have ever heard.
