Dimmu Borgir has lost those little similarities it had with Limbonic Art, many years ago. And I say this after many years of listening to DB and LA.

@ANDREWHALL28 Its not rubbish, Cradle of Filth are not black metal, and have never been either, according to them selfs, but I can agree that the early cradle albums are very much goth black metal, but their later arent much. Dont get my wrong, im a big cradle fan and I own all their cds, and Godspeed is a real return and a great album, and somtetimes I even think its better then most other black metal albums, but Godspeed is not black metal, its extreme metal wich black metal influences

@Wabin22 come on not this rubbish again , Cradle and Dimmu are as much BM as these guys , just a different part of the genre , and if you listen to any of the first 4 Cradle albums this could be on any of those albums, or even their latest to be honest , Godspeed is a real return to form in the heaviness department

@meshuggahfan Dimmu Borgir tryes to be Symphonic Black Metal, but they are as much black metal as Cradle of Filth are.. No, Limbonic art is REAL Symphonic Black Metal and this song rules!

This album had a booklet that was too thick. Once you took it out of the CD case, it was really hard to put it back in.

First time I listen to this band and I think it's pretty fucking awesome! :) Hil Norge, hjemlandet af Black Metal! \m/ One question though... I've done some research and I found out that the drummer on this record is Per Eriksen. He is a fantastic drummer, but why doesn't he play in any bands at the moment? I don't get it...
