@JKcathouse their songs are actually quite complicated you have to listen over and over to get the full meaning they said they didnt want to call this cd country music even though they are useing a pedal steel becauset "country " has a limiting conotation im still trying to figure out if legalize me is about legalizing pot .

when the song ends abruptly at 2:24 in the middle of the phrase if you lie it has a psychological connotation that the relationship in the song will end or be cut off thats a very novel and subtle ending no fade or big ending chord .

The guitar riff at 0:08 reminded me of another record I thought about it for 3 days then it came to me mr. soul by the buffalo springfield its not exactly the same but similar.
