Agree with you. I have purposely listened to about 30 various performers of Lascia and got a feeling no-one can sing it as beautifully as Lesley Garrett.

Too bad people see in Lesley Garrett only her girly gimmicks and don't go further. This unassuming behavior of her is in facts by some aspects charming, and anyway does NOT make her a 2nd rank singer, she actually belongs to the best ones; I don't remember a better Lascia, by any great singer, neither male nor female.
