John SaylorNo, I've never heard those words. They hit home in regards to Gram Parsons. You've got me wondering.. were Russell and Parsons friends ? I know Leon played piano for Parsons and the Flying Burrito Bros on 'Wild Horses' BEFORE The Stones ever recorded it. That's sorta weird to me, that The Stones would give someone a first go at a mind blowing song like this, makes me wonder if the rumors that Parsons had some input on the writing could be true. Parsons had personal money, wealth, so he was not about money. If I had to choose two musicians and none other, they would be Leon Russell and Gram Parsons.
