Guitarist John Strohm hated this tour, he spent most of his time trying to keep Evan from falling back into addiction. Bill Gibson (the fat bastard) was a real asshole, he was an antagonist - enabling. He eventually got kicked off the tour. With the exception of "The Outdoor Type" and "If I Could Talk", Car Button Cloth tries hard to be peppy, but it's very hard to listen to knowing how messed up Evan had become.
