Just listening to this I wouldn't guess the greatest drummer ever was playing it, I wasn't expecting the music to sound like Tool but any drummer could have played this. Maybe it's a grower but didn't speak to me on the first listen.

I'm a fan of both bands except that last release from mastodon...once more round the sun was garbage. ("Hey ho lets go/hey ho lets get up and rock n roll" whoever thought this would be a good line to put in a mastodon song needs to quit music) but this sounds like something off a movie soundtrack.

I'm actually digging this. It's not Mastodon, and it's not Tool, nor should it be. It's really weird and it's clear that they're all having fun with it. If someone could please clarify for me though, is it Dimitri Coats on vocals? I don't know anything about him or OFF! and I would just like to make sure.
