She sings with a slight Irish accent. Somehow that gives this song a beautiful, ancient feel. Paul is one of those rare creatures who can make some songs that sound like they've been around forever.

I heard this song a few years ago the chord progression interested me then the lyrics completely took me in. Laura has a captivating voice with songs like, I speak because I can, Sophia, rambling man and Once I was an eagle they are well written and beautifully sung. The fact that Laura took an interest in this piece makes me smile because she probably felt the same awe that I did on hearing it.
