I heard Kate Bush's rendition of Wuthering Heights at my previous job, a karaoke bar, and liked it instantly.Over the years I've heard of the book Wuthering Heights but had not read it myself and over the course of a few days I read what I could and watched three movies based on the book. The first movie was filmed in 1939, the seconded 1970, and the last movie was the 2011 version; which I found to be highly offensive and not in the spirit of the story at all. The best movie by far was the 1939 version.And this is the best cover of the song. Well done Adam Matthews!

Actually Wuthering Hights is a novel written by Emily Brontë in 1846. To make the story short, Heathcliff (a gypsy) is madly in love with Cathy, his childhood love. Both a deeply in love however Cathy could never be his wife. Catherine locks herself in her room, and begins to make herself ill again through spite and jealousy. Heathcliff hears that Catherine is ill, visits her secretly. However, Cathy is pregnant, and the following day she gives birth to a daughter, Cathy, shortly before dying. After Catherine's funeral, Isabella, Heatcliff now wife leaves Heathcliff and takes refuge in the south of England. She is pregnant, and gives birth to a son, Linton. Hindley dies six months after Catherine, and Heathcliff thus finds himself master of Wuthering Heights. Years after taken Cathy’s daughter to live at his home, Heathcliff began to act strangely and had visions of Catherine. Dream of her return, He stopped eating and after four days was found dead in Catherine's old room. He died loving and hoping Cathy return. He was buried next to Catherine. The Singer Kate Bush wrote a song inspired on the novel “Wuthering Hights” when Kate was 18 years of age. The lyrics of the song is the story tell and cannot be change otherwise the story of Wuthering Hights, the most romantic novel after Rome & Juliet would it be different.
