He'd also like to dedicate this video to the memory of Bob Moog. Maurice did'nt get sick until after the band re-grouped...Maurice dis-banded the group and some members chose to stay out while some others came back...The new band had a more progressive sound but some of the energy was missing ...However the groove was much tighter with Sonny Emory on drums....

It was a matter of money, EWF stopped making as much money as they had been, plus Maurice got sick, and stopped touring. Musicians have to keep moving with the times, to keep the money coming in, it's not like Larry was the first to leave, nor was he the last, it's just economics. That said he will be quite comfortably well off, he co-wrote quite a lot of the 70's and 80's stuff, and will be credited as such. I saw them with him in 1979, fantastic concert, Bingley hall, Staffordshire, England.

I wonder why Larry would leave a group like EWF? His keyboards were perfect....hottest show I ever saw was in Philly in 82 and Larry was killing those boards!!
