Bea's vocals are irreplaceable. Its the beauty of her as a woman expressed through her vocals but she also is an icon of the integrity of her times. Priceless!!

I mean, really! How can there be four people who would thumb this down? Maybe they're from the MTV crowd and thought they were going to get the rock/heavy metal group. Figures they didn't know what "1939" meant.

Deep Purple se convirtió en un éxito en su salida en 1933, un instrumental que, como era frecuente, exigió palabras para poder ser cantada con las orquestas. Bea Wain lo hace el frente de la de Larry Clinton. When the deep purple falls over sleepy garden walls / And the stars begin to twinkle in the sky— / In the mist of a memory you wander back to me / Breathing my name with a sigh... Disfrútalo!

This was my Mother and Daddy's song. It didn't matter what they were doing...when it came on the radio, they would stop and dance to it. I can close my eyes and see them dancing in the kitchen. It just makes my heart happy...they were so in love.
