I love this cover but it really isn't the same without "daddy". Lana uses it in her song because it shows the depths of despair she has fallen. If you watch her Ride music video she states that she has no one to fall back on and relies on the kindness of strangers. The daddy lyric depicts how she wants an authoritative figure to stabilize her and she seeks this in random men
