LaKisha had previously seen Bon Jovi on Oprah. How thrilled he must have been. LaKisha was smart with her selection, picking "This Ain't a Love Song." Her voice handled it very well, but I thought the song itself was just kind of cheesy. She did move Simon to a borderline makeout session, so it couldn't have been all bad. I am not a big Bon Jovi fan, but I do think they manage to make their songs work well. It doesn't mean others can work the same magic.

Whaaa... The right person won that season, which is a rarity for that show. I was lucky enough to be at the taping for this episode, and agree Lakisha's performance won that night, but Jordin won pretty much every other night (with the exception of No Doubt night, that was dreadful), throughout the entire competition.
