Absolutely brilliant.......the music is outstanding plus the mix of sounds and the video; makes it greater! I wonder if the video shown was made by Laibach (Well.....of curse I know it is part of a film) But was it performed by Laibach or just somebody else took the liberty of adding the video to the original Laibach song?

Thanks - that's very helpful indeed. I finally managed to track down the tape version online the other day but haven't managed to play it through properly. I do own a physical copy of the CD version of the album so I'll compare the two when I can.

Actually, "Illumination" is one of the least changed tracks between versions...in fact if there are any differences they're quite subtle. For interesting changes, try Torso (the cassette version has an added dialogue in I think Latin) and Kinderreich (has way more samples, mostly of children, plus more chanting, also apparently in Latin.) The cassette version of "Hymn to the Black Sun" has a better progression to it I think.

Does the tape edit of 'Illumination' differ much from the CD version?

I recently found the cassette version in my local music store, which as far as I'm concerned is a total miracle because they don't have very many cassettes. I'm glad I did, because it is indeed far better than the CD version. Makes me want to hear the LP mixes now, if I can possibly track that one down.

Sorry for the historical ignorance. I can recognize Stalin, obviously. But who is that non-bearded figure?

The fantastic album Kapital exists in three different versions, three different Mixes (CD, LP and MC). I possess three version. I can send them to you if you want.

On the cassette version. This is so much better than the CD version. In fact I had first bought Kapital on cassette and then a few years bought the CD and hated the latter. The cassette version is infinitely better than the CD.

Do you know how someone can gaat this version? I'd love to have it in my collection.
