Canción de Ladytron "Black Plastic", - Light & Magic (2002)

Lyric

Someone's coming round in the evening

One touch on the face of a city.

Boyblack plastic chair with some time to spare

Black plastic, touching black plastic

Someone's coming round in the evening

One touch on the face of a city.

Boyblack plastic chair with some time to spare

Black plastic, touching black plastic

One touch on the face of a city.

Boyblack plastic chair with some time to...

Drawing on face of a girl who is sleeping

Black plastic chair, zoning out, making one touch

@Contraceptive You really got a point here. In my opinion Seventeen is the fourth least radio-friendly song on that album (True Mathematics, Turn It On and Cracked LCD being the other three). Why did they pick it as a single is WAY beyond me. The Reason Why could have been such a smash hit.

Really, this was single material. I think it would've done better in a mainstream perspective than "Seventeen", since the lyrics are less repetitive. Friends that I've introduced to Ladytron declare that they hate the band after hearing "Seventeen". They just don't understand Electronic music, I suppose. The stellar production is what makes the song.

I have never heard them play this song live. This also one of the most played out of my Ladytron collection.
