About 1979, I was headed South to visit my mother in Florida, driving a 1977 Olds 98 with an 8 track deck playing Lacy J.. Made it from Richmond to Jacksonville in less than 10 hours. One of the best runs of my life!

Spectacular voice, and a brilliant composer.I'd give anything to hear her do "Someday Soon," written by the legendary Ian Tyson. She's one of the few women alive who really have the right voice for that song.

OK, now you've got me in tears. I'm into my 8th decade on this earth, and I believe that there has NEVER been a war (conflict, whatever) that was worth the cost in human suffering.And I really fear that if religious extremism, mostly Islamist, is not addressed soon in some meaningful way, we will be into a 3rd World War, one that will make the other two look like a walk in the park. We just might end up with a planet that's totally uninhabitable. Pray for peace.

Lost a "DEAR FRIEND & SOLDIER" ..In 1984 .."BIG RON'" you are missed..He took his life...He couldn't find his place back home ...I cry today , because I couldn't save him...He so wanted to fit "IN" and yet "couldn't or didn't feel safe to be in a relationship..PTSD....and he took his life...last words he said to me was.."Thank You & I Love YOU"....I will NEVER FORGET....I <3 YOU MY FRIEND..And GOD BLESS YOU....<3
