This song is beautiful, i love it . Now that i gave my life to Christ and i am now a born again Christian . I totally understand how this feels. I used to listen to listen to fly leaf when i was in 7th grade . and i was suicidal, i used to cut my self for the feeling i was addicted to the feeling ... i was a broken child. now i am set free and i found the reason to live . i used to hate waking up .. now i love waking up next to my husband and seeing my beautiful smiling kids in the morning. The beautiful thing about music is regardless of how the writer originally wrote the song about, it can be interpreted in many different ways. As an athiest, I don't see a religious messages this song, as it's not the views I have. To me, I interpret it as a person trying to find the love of their life, but they gave others that place and ended up getting hurt every time. Then when they finally found the one they were searching for and we're healed from all the previous pain they went through in other relationships. Does anyone else see it the same it even in different ways that I haven't considered? I'm interested to see what others views of it are, who aren't religious.
