The tuning is in Double C (gCGCD), capoed up two frets to Double D (aDADE).

I see the capo on the 2nd fret, but is the banjo tuned to sawmill tuning (gDGCD) or is it open G tuning (gDGBD) or something else?

sweet chicken plucking on the banjo.. La bastraingue est une de mes chansons favorite que mon grand pere chantais.. Merci beaucoup pour votre rendition.

This song is a story about a young girl piano player who challenges an older fiddler to a duel of speed. You are only playing this at half speed at best. Gittyup girl........

I really like the feeling of you guys doing it, seems so easy, not monotonously perfect rhythm or serious faces.

@PhilFilth I know what you mean but British would include Scottish. It should be calling a Scottish song an English one, or a Manx one, Irish one etc

@PhilFilth The French Canadian people in Ontario, New Brunswick and the other maritimes probably find it insulting that they're all lumped together under Quebecoise >.> That's why French Canadian is used.

PhilFilth

Québecoise song, not french canadian. It's like calling a scottish guy a british one. It's insulting lol XD
