Krokus American Woman 1982
Krokus ist eine erfolgreiche Schweizer Rock-Band. Die aus Solothurn stammende Gruppe feierte ihre größten Erfolge in der ersten Hälfte der 1980er Jahre mit ihrem riffbetonten Hard Rock, der dem von AC/DC nicht unähnlich ist. Die Band erreichte Platinstatus in den USA, bekam die Ehrenbürgerschaft von Tennessee und zerbrach nicht zuletzt an den vielen Besetzungswechseln. Das im Jahr 2003 veröffentlichte Comebackalbum Rock The Block markierte die Rückkehr der Band und bescherte Krokus das erste Nummer 1 Album in ihrer Heimat.
