I am a Kraftwerk Believer since the mid 70s, but: Even "back in 79" in Germany Kraftwerk was already the uncoolest thing ever. The Manmachine came out and despite being their last good album, it was a flop. There were Disco, Giorgo Moroder, Donna Summer, Punk and the beginning of New Wave, Hardrock anyway. Since Radioactivity, 40 years ago, Kraftwerk is in constant decline, unfortunately. If there weren´t Techno in the 90s , DJs like Bambaata and now YT no one would remember Kraftwerk today.
