I have got alot of remastered KMFDM CD's and they all sound somehow fuller or deeper than in Youtube. It's either because of the bad Youtube quality, or that the Youtube ones aren't the remastered ones.. I was quite disappointed when I bought a remastered copy of Naïve, the point where the "O Fortuna" sample used to be sounds horribly lame but on the other hand "Go to hell fuck MTV mix" and the "godlike" remixes made it worth buying. Atleast in my opinion.

well i owned the original albums...and the only remastered one i bought was Money...and i can say for sure there is a BIG difference in the quality of sound.

I've heard that the remastered ver's are louder....not necessarily deeper or w/e, but once again I can't accurately say since I don't have them.

I bought the original Naïve CD off Amazon just the other day, just because of the unedited Liebesleid track (also as a collectors item). Not hard to find but a little more pricey. No but I'm wondering about the sound - a lot of people say remastered albums sound fuller or deeper, and I'm wondering if the sound is really that much better; whether I'd be missing anything if I buy the originals. Not concerned about bonus tracks.

I think the remastered version of angst has an edited version of a drug against war. Naive has an edited version of Liebesleid. I can't say much for the rest. I own the remastered ones simply because it's hard to find the old ones. The remastered albums have bonus tracks, some of which are okay, and I frankly don't know where else said tracks could be found. Anyway....The original albums are probably better if you can find them in good condition...but go with what you can find i guess.

So are the remastered CD's worth buying? I know the sound might be better, but as a collector I would like to grab the originals because they are now out of print (i think). And I don't want to buy both.
